The French transport authorities are centers of public expertise. For 30 years, they have gained considerable experience that can be very useful abroad, especially in developing countries where urbanization grows very fast. Through political and technical exchanges, communities can provide useful insights to their foreign counterparts by emphasizing the role of local authorities in the governance and supporting the development of sustainable urban mobility policies. How international action of local authorities in urban transport can it meet both the objectives of international solidarity, the promotion of French expertise and attractiveness of the territories ?
