CODATU conference is postponed due to COVID-19 crisis

Publication Monday 6 April 2020

The 18th CODATU conference was to take place in Dakar from November 2nd to November 7th, in partnership with CETUD. Due to the current health crisis, our priority is to respect safety recommendations. As a consequence, we have decided to postpone the conference. A new date will be set soon.

The conference will still take place in Dakar, but in 2021. All of the activities, will be maintained, including the science-focused ones, the ministerial session, and the innovation and thesis prizes whose application dates will be extended. We will also add sessions on urban mobility in southern cities in a post COVID-19 context that will be the subject of a specific scientific call for papers.

CODATU wishes to reaffirm its solidarity with the partners and cities affected by the crisis. Despite the circumstances, our teams have reorganized to remain operational so that they can continue to advance as much as possible on CODATU’s projects. We wish to thank our sponsors and members for their loyal support.
