The
Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation took the initiative to organize a two-day International Conference on:

“Looking for Synergy: Integrating Transport, Urban Planning and the Use of Traffic Management Methods for Ensuring Sustainable Mobility and Healthy Urban Environment”

This conference is a starting event of the international partnership on integration of transport, health and environmental issues in urban and spatial planning. This partnership was declared by the Russian Federation and France in 2014 within the framework of the UNECE (United Nation Economic Commission for Europe) and WHO Pan-European Programme on Transport, Environment and Health (THE PEP).

The Conference will take place in Irkutsk (Russia) on the 10th and 11th of September 2015 and will be organized by the Scientific and Research Institute of Motor Transport (NIIAT) and the Irkutsk National Research Technical University in cooperation with THE PEP Secretariat.
